Pressure Points

“Pressure Points” is the public discourse series of the MAS UTD— convening practitioners, researchers, and critics to discuss over the ecological, political, and spatial forces that shape how territories are made, unmade, and contested. Through the lecture series, and the attendance to all the school’s lecture the course explores contemporary architectural, urban, and territorial debates—and engages with writing as a tool for analyzing, interpreting, and communicating discursive positions. It demands that students develop engagement with current trends, critical thinking, creativity, and effective work methodology.
